Amye Day Ong’s essays have appeared in Image, CutBank, The Common online, and Green Briar Review. Her essay “Chest Percussions,” for Image, was selected as notable in The Best American Essays 2018. Ong received her MFA in creative nonfiction from Columbia College Chicago and also holds a master’s in religion from Yale Divinity School. In 2018, she was a contributor in nonfiction at the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference. She is currently working on a memoir.
